We're officially underway with Phase 3 of the Circular Buildings Coalition

The kick-off gave us the chance to reconnect, welcome new partners, share perspectives from across the coalition, and start exploring how our different workstreams can reinforce one another as we move from ambition to implementation.

At the heart of Phase 3 is a simple but important challenge: how do we respond to global challenges through solutions that are grounded in local realities?

Our work will focus on learning from what happens on the ground, across different cities, markets and contexts, and turning those local insights into broader systemic learning that can help shift the conditions for circular construction at scale.

That connection between the local and the systemic came to life during our visit to Tipping Point East in Newham led by Dr Silvie Jacobi and Talia Berriman, where we saw a practical example of how circular approaches can be tested, adapted and embedded within a specific local context.

What stood out across the two days was the breadth of experience around the table, and the value of bringing different perspectives together to challenge assumptions, learn from one another and build stronger solutions.
